John Michener was CUA’s founding father and leader for many decades. He believed in the importance of teaching financial literacy to our members and in our community. Financial literacy is the possession of skills that allow people to make smart decisions with their money. In a 500-word essay, please answer the following questions:

What does financial literacy mean to you and why is it important?
How will this type of knowledge allow you to succeed in the future?

The online application and all supporting documents must be received by 11:59 pm on March 16, 2025. Winning applicants will be notified via email by April 30, 2025.
